We all know the old saying, “you gotta crawl before you walk”, right?
Well that can be used in any situation that you go through in life. I don’t think any of us came out of the womb walking, talking, and running lol. In a lot of things that we do go through it takes time and many of us tend to want to rush. Allow me to point this out for you, I’m sure you do not want to rush through the short time that we do have in this existence we call life.
On our planet, we have these standstill objects called stop signs, which do indeed keep us from rushing. When you do rush through the stop-sign, there’s a high chance that you’ll get a ticket, or punished. They do not do this for the sake of it, they do it to keep us out of harm’s way. Now let’s take it back to the beginning.
It is all about PATIENCE and as another saying goes, “patience is a virtue”. Some things in life happen quickly and others don’t, but if you can recall, it can all be taken away faster than it came. The baby steps you do take use that early time in life to develop your walk so you can run. I’m sure you don’t want to be the one person with the messed up walk/run because you didn’t take the proper time to train your steps.
Here’s something else to think about – When you’re taking baby steps, it allows you to thoroughly view the world as it should be seen, nothing to be taken for granted.
Personally, I like to do things in life at breakneck speed so I constantly have to remind myself to have patience. For the rest of you speed demons, slow yourself down so you can see the world and all it’s beauty in life.
